NC Eid Festival is an educational and cultural organization with a mission to “Bridging the Communities of various faiths, beliefs, and practices through education and festivities by celebrating the Eid Festival as an American Holiday Event”

This organization holds its major event of “Cary Eid Festival” through the sponsorship of Town of Cary, local businesses, and individuals, as an American Holiday Event. This event is held in the month of October marking the start of holiday season. Open to all, this festival brings Bazaar, Food, Music, Art, and Entertainment from all over the world, while educating the audience about the rich cultural and holiday festivities of the Muslim world and American Muslims. This activity is arranged by a large team of volunteers both from the local community and from those provided by the Town of Cary.

On the other hand, this event provide cross cultural education to the audience through invited groups from the local Middle and High Schools and other local art and cultural organizations. These groups present western classical music and other art form to the audience.

During this activity, a piece of art is presented to the Town of Cary from a designated Muslim country as a token of thanks for its sponsorship. This piece of art is displayed, along with other pieces of art, in Page-Walker Arts and Cultural Center of the Town of Cary, thus educating the visitors from all walks of life about the rich art heritage of that Muslim country.
