This organization is governed by a Board of Directors who are responsible for legislation and fund raising activities. The Board members also chair various committees. The Board consists of eleven members from diverse ethnic backgrounds preferably from various Muslim countries all around the world and from the USA.

The Organization was formed  on August 1, 2007 and was incorporated on September 21, 2007 as a non-profit organization in the State of North Carolina, USA.

The Organization received its Tax Exempt 501(c)(3) Charity Organization status on May 26, 2009 effective from October 26, 2007. Our Tax ID is 33-1184055
